拱廊火（Arcade Fire）的作品一直走在可听和实验的临界点上。他们的大乐团结构也很容易让人想到同城前辈GY!BE。这种类比没有界定这支仍属新团的用意，恐怕听后多年的老炮也很难认同。只不过后摇滚的界限越来越模糊，同质化也很严重。在这一背景下，Arcade Fire是保留特点和想象力的一支组合。

在这张全长之前，他们已经有了N张小片，也和不少老炮有过合作。可谓正当风骚。

The second album from Montreal's Arcade Fire exceeds all expectations. With string and orchestral arrangements by two of the band members, "Neon Bible" is full of both half-assed punk rock mistakes and meticulously orchestrated woodwinds. Processed strings and mandolin. Quiet rumbles and loud rumbles. But mostly just eleven songs that the band thinks are really good.

听了3天，觉得还是没有当初听Funeral时的兴奋与好奇了。

这张应该说他们强调了吉他部分，但人声方面有退步.弦乐跟配合只能说保持了上一张的水准。

真正的亮点应该是中间几首，Ocean Of Noise给我印象比较深，当然还有Antichrist Television Blues.

road试听的那首No Cars Go,如果把中间仅有的一点弦乐去掉，实在很像87年的The Pixes...
